What is there to do?
The main attraction in south-western Uganda is the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a World Heritage Site. It is composed of 331 sq kilometers (128 sq.mi.) of both mountain and lowland forest and is accessible only on foot. The park contains half of the world's endangered mountain gorillas along with colobus monkeys, chimpanzees, over 300 species of birds and much more. Bwindi Guest House is ideally situated to take full advantage of the park and other attractions in the region. Our coffee farmer has his breakfast and dinner at the Monkey House when he is in town. Go along for a morning to tour the farm, see how coffee is grown and processed then take a bag home to share.
