What is there to do?

The main attraction in south-western Uganda is the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a World Heritage Site.  It is composed of 331 sq kilometers (128 sq.mi.) of both mountain and lowland forest and is accessible only on foot. The park contains half of the world's endangered mountain gorillas along with colobus monkeys, chimpanzees, over 300 species of birds and much more. Bwindi Guest House is ideally situated to take full advantage of the park and other attractions in the region.  Below, we've provided links to some of the various activities available during your stay - hover over the photo that interests you, then click for additional information.
